Do Your Own Thing

Regardless of the name not all our members camp at all, but joined us through camping friends and join us during the winter months when the walking enthusiasts meet every other Sunday at 11 o'clock at a pre-arranged location in Northumberland or Durham for a family orientated ramble, whatever the weather of about six miles, carrying packed lunch on the back for a country feast in the hedgerows and arrive back at your car approximately 3 o'clock to return home before dark.

One of a Dying Breed
During the summer months we arrange with friendly farmers to use a secluded piece of their land to camp the weekend.

Arriving Friday afternoon till Sunday or Monday evening on Bank Holidays with basic toilet facilities provided for those backpacking & cycling to the site, who can’t carry their own.

With fresh water available from the farmer who could ask for more, except a dry pack to end it.

  • Regular magazine to keep you in touch with the real world.
